An Open Letter

To those who make things, whether you are an engineer, artist, actor, coder, writer, or something else:

In 2027, we're getting rid of the traditional hackathon. There will no crunch to build something in 24 hours. We're calling it Switchboard. It's for people who come from general tech meetup culture or hackathons but never quite felt at home there. It's for people who want a place to be creative. It's for you. And we're calling it Switchboard.

What happens at Switchboard?

Switchboard is self-organized, meaning, it is a run by attendees to make what they see fit of Switchboard. You can bring your laptop, tablet, braclet making supplies and come camp with us. We're currently bootstrapping funding for this event. We do know that it will (likely) be in Georgia.

If you want to sponsor us, please reach out! [email protected]

What is Hard Fork?

Hard Fork is a community space for creative technologists. We're pretty new and hoping this will be our inaugural event! You can find our main website at hardfork.ngo.
